Direct lending is possible. Optional: Lamina as guarantor allows bypassing traditional application methods and criteria. APR can be as high as 275% when our optional fees are factored in. You are free to select the option that best suits you.
Flexible and fair: While the guarantee product fee is a fixed cost, You can settle and reimburse the full amount at any time before term. Settling early, we are open to reducing the fixed guarantee fee. As an illustration, if the full amount is paid within 30 days of receiving funds the total cost to borrow is 20% of the amount borrowed plus any remaining capital, within 15 days it is 15% of the amount borrowed plus any remaining capital. These are better terms than a standard payday loan. We have favourable settlement terms past 30 days and at any time you pay in full before term.
The variable credit product is like a flexible short-term loan you can decide to pay quickly if you have the extra capital to do so and without any penalties.
An administration fee of $50 applies on missed payments without communication from the client. This covers our banking fees as well as the human cost of trying to reach you.
For example, if you were to receive a $900 credit, opted into Lamina’s optional guarantee product and were paid weekly, you would make 19 payments of $73.52 for a total of $1396.80 over five months. That is a total cost of $496.80, all fees included.
